The Women's Network
A brief history
After successfully running business networking events for several years, Kristine enrolled in the Masters of Communications Management Program to study how women’s networks can be more effectively structured to support women’s career advancement. After graduating in 2019, Kristine launched the Women’s Network in 2020 to respond to limited networking activities during COVID-19. With the first virtual event surpassing expectations, the Women’s Network is now in its fourth year of operations. She has expanded to in-person and virtual events, providing opportunities for sponsors to engage a professional audience, speakers to share their knowledge, attendees to gain knowledge and connections, and individuals to get involved through a volunteer committee.
